So you're adopting?
Mackenzie and I have been discussing adoption for a while now and have felt God telling us it's time to take the plunge. We have partnered with a great Christian agency called Lifeline that has helped us decide on the China program where there are lots of children waiting for adoption that have special needs. For a long time we thought, we'll wait till we have the money or the right job situation, (insert reasonably rationalized excuse here), etc. , but we realized one that was never going to happen and more importantly that God is BIGGER than our plans and normally makes miracles happens in humblest of conditions. Here's what we know: from the world's view this is crazy and financially irresponsible, but we also know God likes to make crazy possible . We also have quickly realized this is not just about us getting a child but this is about a plethora of people and circumstances coming together through God's divine providence to make a miracle happen.
